Orange_Beach_Fishing_charters_catching_Scamp_Grouper

The Scamp Grouper fishing in Orange Beach while on a charter has been good so far this year. The mild spring fishing weather we are experiencing in the Gulf of Mexico has made for some good deep sea charters thus far. Catching a Scamp Grouper while on a 6 hour charter is very uncommon because they normally live further offshore in about 150 to 350 feet of water. This Scamp Grouper was caught on the Allen Ship which is one of Alabama’s public reef structures. This time of the year, these spots are loaded with fish and provide some good opportunities to try some chumming fishing or jigging fishing in addtion to some live bait fishing on full day charters. Just having fun on a charter boat while catching some quality fish near Gulf Shores is the perfect escape from every day life for most anglers. Some come along with one of the Orange Beach Fishing Cooperative Charter Boats and enjoy your day on the water.
