We would like to welcome you, your kids and your family to the Distraction Charters website.  Families come to Gulf Shores, Alabama for vacation, spring break and to get away for a couple of days and do some saltwater fishing.  Gulf Shores Family Deep Sea Fishing has always been one of the favorite things to do along the Gulf Coast of Alabama.   Many parents bring their kids and charter a boat and go deep sea fishing.  The hardest thing is finding a deep sea charter boat in Gulf Shores that cares if you, your kids and your family have a good time and catch fish.    Gulf Shores Deep Sea Fishing should be fun and relaxing.    We solve the problem of searching for a good charter boat.  Every charter boat and party boat says "We Catch Fish."  But there's more to a good saltwater fishing charter than just catching fish along the gulf shores.  Catching fish is important but even more important is your family getting great customer service.   You, your kids and your family will get great service and catch fish with Distraction Charters.   You will not hear any profanity or have any crude or rude behavior around your kids.  We don't have any tattoo's that have any graphic or obscene pictures to expose your kids too! 

We offer 4 and 6 hour family trips for first timers or families that don't want to spend the whole day on the water.  For more extreme Family Fishing, we offer you a chance to go way out where you can't see Gulf Shores and go fishing for 8, 10 or 12 hours.  We catch Red Snapper, Grouper, Amberjack, King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, Triggerfish, Ruby Lips and Bee liners.  The longer you fish, the better opportunity you will have to catch more variety.

Gulf Shores Family Bottom Fishing

Our most popular family Bottom fishing trips we offer are up to 6 hours.   We troll out to the artificial reefs and then let everyone hold a pole and drop a bait down below the charter boat.  Everyone fishes at the same time.  The most common fish is the Red Snapper and they fight real hard.  You will have a blast deep sea fishing with our light tackle.  The tackle is light and does not wear our customers out.  The fish might wear you out, but the Orange Beach Light Tackle Deep Sea Fishing allows you to feel the fight.  Those Red Snappers fight hard.  You will be amazed at how hard they pull.  Can you imagine laughing the whole time your reeling one in?  Can you imagine catching a fish almost everytime you drop your line?  During May, June, July, August and September, we are offering two trips daily departing at 6:30 and 1:30pm.  If 6 hours is too much time for you, let us know, if you want to come back in early.  We have a minimum fee for the six hour trip.  It's your decision.  The fee guarantees you up to six hours.

Want to fish longer than 6 hours?  If you would like to head out away from our gulf shores and deep sea fish for eight, ten or twelve hours, just let us know on our Orange Beach Fishing Reservation Page and we will gladly assist you.  We have a minimum fee that guarantees your hours booked.  If you want to stay longer than your trip, it's ok by us as long as we don't have another trip booked that day.  Let us know!  We will be glad to keep you fishing with our exclusive Stay Longer Program.

If you are having fun and don’t want to go in yet, ask us if we can stay longer. We will do whatever you want as long as we do not have another trip scheduled that day or the weather is not a factor.
